Based in Selkirk in the heart of the Scottish Borders, Gingerlilies began with a simple vision: to bring wellbeing, luxury and sustainability together in every creation. Started from a deep concern about harmful chemicals in everyday products, Gingerlilies was created to offer a natural alternative, beginning with hand-poured candles and soon expanding to a collection of body and skincare products. All made with the same care for quality, natural ingredients and eco-conscious design.
Each candle is carefully crafted from a natural blend of sunflower and olive wax and fragranced with essential oils that are skilfully blended with top, middle, and base notes to create a balanced scent. Every detail reflects a commitment to the environment, from recycled and recyclable glass jars and FSC-certified wooden wicks to labels printed with vegan ink on recycled paper. All products are vegan, cruelty-free and made using essential oils sourced from sustainably grown plants and trees.

I’m the founder of Gingerlilies, creating products that not only care about the environment but also your skin, body and mind.
I started this company after seeing the harm caused by toxic chemicals and plastic in everyday products, from carcinogens and hormone disruptors to threats to wildlife and ecosystems.
When I tried to cut these out of my own routine, I realised there were few truly safe, sustainable options available, so I began making my own. My products are cruelty-free, vegan, minimise plastic and never contain harmful chemicals.
As a qualified make-up artist, I spent years working in the cosmetics and perfumery industry in London, bringing expert insight into what skin truly needs to look and feel its best. I use this experience every day, carefully designing Gingerlilies products to deliver real results, enhance wellbeing, using only ingredients and methods I truly believe in.
